Gundam Gallery

Showcase your build, celebrate the community, and be part of the Principality of G Gundam Gallery.

The Gundam Gallery is a community exhibition celebrating creativity, craftsmanship and a shared love of Gunpla.

Builders of all experience levels are welcome. Whether you are entering your first completed kit or displaying a fully customised build, the Gallery is about bringing people together and giving every builder a chance to share their work.

Entry Fee

$10 per entry

Each registration secures one display spot in the Gundam Gallery.

How It Works

  1. Register online to secure your spot.
  2. Complete your build before the submission deadline.
  3. Submit your finished build to Principality of G.
  4. Your build will be displayed in-store as part of the Gallery.
  5. Entries will be reviewed by our judging panel.
  6. Winners will be announced at the end of the event.

Gallery Rules

  • Each registration permits one submitted build.
  • The Gallery is open to builders of all skill levels.
  • Unless otherwise stated, any officially licensed Gunpla kit may be entered.
  • Straight builds, painted builds, weathered builds, kitbashes and custom projects are all welcome.
  • Display bases and accessories are permitted, provided they fit within the allocated display space.
  • Entries must be submitted by the advertised deadline.
  • Late entries may not be accepted.
  • Builds must be suitable for public in-store display.
  • Principality of G will take reasonable care of all submitted builds while on display; however, entries are submitted at the participant’s own risk.
  • By entering, participants agree that photos and videos of their build may be used by Principality of G for promotional and social media purposes.

Judging & Awards

The Gundam Gallery is first and foremost a community exhibition. However, because prizes are awarded, entries will also be reviewed by our judging panel.

1. Overall Presentation

The overall visual impact of the completed build. Judges consider the pose, balance, display base if used, composition, and how effectively the model captures attention as a finished display piece.

2. Build Quality

The quality of the assembly and construction. This includes clean nub removal, seam treatment, part alignment, panel lining, fit and finish, and the overall standard of craftsmanship.

3. Paintwork & Finish

The execution of paint and finishing techniques where used. Judges consider colour application, consistency, decals, weathering, shading, top coats, colour separation and the overall finish.

Unpainted builds are not disadvantaged. They are assessed on the quality of their chosen finish and execution.

4. Cohesion & Theme

How well the various elements work together to create a unified build. Judges consider colour palette, accessories, weapons, display base, effects, modifications and whether the build presents a clear overall vision.

5. Attention to Detail

The finer touches that elevate the build. This may include precise decal placement, subtle paint details, panel lining, weathering, colour accents, custom additions or other finishing techniques that reward closer inspection.

Notes on Judging

  • Entries are assessed as a whole rather than by strict numerical scoring.
  • No single category automatically outweighs another.
  • Judges consider the overall execution of each build when selecting prize winners.
  • Judging is conducted by a panel to provide multiple perspectives and minimise individual bias.
  • All judging decisions are final.

Previous Gundam Galleries

Our previous Gundam Gallery events brought together builders from across the community, with entries ranging from clean straight builds to heavily customised display pieces.

Each Gallery has shown just how many different ways there are to enjoy Gunpla, and we are excited to continue growing the event with every round.
