MG 1/100 Gundam GP02A brings the fearsome RX-78GP02A "Physalis" from Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory to Bandai's Master Grade lineup. Piloted by the legendary Zeon ace Anavel Gato, the GP02A was designed as a tactical nuclear assault mobile suit and remains one of the most imposing Gundams ever created. With its massive armour, oversized shield, and iconic Atomic Bazooka, this Master Grade kit perfectly captures the sheer presence of the "Nightmare of Solomon." 

Despite being one of Bandai's earlier Master Grade releases, the GP02A features an impressive internal mechanical structure, including removable armour panels that reveal the detailed inner frame. The enormous shoulder binders feature linked movement that adjusts the internal thrusters as they open, while the cockpit hatch can be displayed open to showcase the pilot compartment. 

The highlight of the kit is its legendary Atomic Bazooka, which can be displayed fully assembled for firing poses or separated into two sections for storage. The barrel stores neatly inside the massive shield, while the rear firing unit and nuclear warhead mount onto the backpack exactly as seen in the OVA.
