HGUC 1/144 Efreet Schneid

Add the Efreet Schneid from Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn to your 1/144 collection. This High Grade Universal Century kit focuses on the mobile suit’s distinctive head, chest and heat-dart equipment. Fourteen removable Heat Darts are positioned around the model, and coloured moulding represents their heated appearance. The equipment gives the finished build a striking close-combat character, with plenty of visual detail to explore from different viewing angles.

Bandai also provides an independently movable mono-eye and soft material for the power pipes. Those details add interest when you adjust the head or arrange the body for display. The removable darts let you consider different equipment presentations, while the shaped armour keeps the Efreet Schneid recognisable even in a straightforward standing pose. It is a fitting subject for a Gundam Unicorn shelf or a collection centred on Zeon machines. Take time with the numerous small weapons during assembly, keeping the pieces organised so the distinctive mounted equipment can be completed carefully.

Building and finishing

This is an assembly project for your hobby bench. Before starting, read through the instructions, identify the runners and set out a clean space for small components. Trim attachment points carefully and check the orientation of each piece before joining it. If you choose to add panel lining, paint or another finish, test the product on a spare section of runner first and follow its instructions. Work gradually, keeping unused parts together for later reference. Once the model is assembled, adjust one joint or connection at a time and check the balance of your chosen display.
